Fifth Gear Web TV – Introducing the Mazda CX-7 Crew Car

Tuesday, December 13th, 2011 admin

We’ve got some brand new cars to help us travel around and film our forthcoming brand new series of Fifth Gear and we decided to tell you all about them. In this video, Graham from the Office introduces and examines our first long-term vehicles, the Mazda CX-7. For more videos, news and reviews go to fwd.five.tv
Video Rating: 4 / 5

FOR PRICING & SPECS ON THIS CAR VISIT: www.kbb.com Volvo C30. In case you havent noticed, small cars are in. High gas prices and crowded roads have reopened Americas eyes to the charms of driving small. Now Volvo is getting in on the action with the C30, a progressively styled hatchback that brings premium car features to the compact car segment. Welcome to our comprehensive Kelley Blue Book review of the Volvo C30. The C30 may be the smallest and the least expensive Volvo available but that doesnt mean its cheap. A host of exterior colors, interior themes and high-end options help the C30 prove that the term premium small car isnt an oxymoron. By sootyferrari65 on December 13th, 2011 at 2:18 am

By Descartes619 on December 13th, 2011 at 3:02 am

this guy is a pretty good reviewer

Hey fithgear Team,

how far is your announced review for the cx-7?

By KillerKaprice on December 13th, 2011 at 4:48 am

WHO THE HELL IS THIS?!?!? He better not replace anyone!

woo…Manual gear CX-7, never have a chance to see this in Hong Kong…

hes looking really stiffed it must be damn cold there in england

@willg46 i like the guy he trys but i just dont think hes my type of presenter.

@bbbd really? I love graham for most segments (not the console games), but I think its just because he’s new and his quirkyness hasn’t died on me.

By alwaysblank on December 13th, 2011 at 8:03 am

@davewhodavedunn Not really. According to the BBC weather stats, Toronto gets more rain than London on average and twice as much in Feb/Mar/Apr/May. Vancouver gets almost FOUR times as much rain as London does. In Winter/Spring even Los Angeles gets more rainfall than London.

great car whould it be if only japs whould realize that disel should also have automatic transmitions. With manual I whould take x3 etd – shame

OH WHY DIDN’T THEY MAKE A NEW RX7 INSTEAD, Oh sorry I left my caps on but I cba rewriting it, but hen again I could be rewriting it in the same time I wrote this. But its really the thing of rewriting the same thing I hate. Anyway I should stop typing my thoughts and get the fuck outa here ;P

mmm the cx-7 isnt an off roader……its a “city car” as you would say in the UK…its a simple Crossover SUV

I can’t wait to see that Aston Martin Rapide Review by Tiff in the New Series!!!

Wish we could get more diesels in the US!

@willg46 totally agree with u. been sayin this for ages. would be nice if they had a better presenter tho.

Top gear use range rovers

Anyone knows when season 17 coming out ?

By georgelovecar on December 13th, 2011 at 12:06 pm

real special long-term drive test

wait a sec. there’s 2 bottles of piss in the boot?

By vitessemeister on December 13th, 2011 at 12:41 pm

so how much does mazda pay their mechanics to pee in that tank?

Awesome review. Very educational and a bit entertaining as well. Had my attention the entire time!

By powersliding on December 13th, 2011 at 1:34 pm

good basic review

wow turbo diesel all wheel drive in N America they are gas front drive

@willg46 i definetly agree. Top gear used to do good car reviews a long time ago, but now they are more about entertaining viewers with big chalenges and so on. Fifth gear is definetly more about factual stuff on cars. Wish top gear did a little weekly internet video but I enjoy both shows a lot.

Volvo C30 is quite possibly the car with the worst rear design ever. That thing looks like a huge, gaping Goatse-anus! Jesus effing Christ, who BUYS this shit?

By MacGyver920 on December 13th, 2011 at 3:06 pm

It is one of the ugliest cars I have ever seen in my entire life, by acres and miles!
You see its front, and think it’s a rather good looking little car, but then you see its back and you just go What the FUCK?!
No thanks, don’t give me European rubbish. Give me American.

@sniper4usmc
Just got one a couple of weeks ago. Both kids fit nicely. I weigh in at about 265 and have no problems riding in the rear. Not much cargo space but I use it for my daily driver to work. We have the a SUV for longer trips. The biggest problem we have is fighting over who gets to drive it.

By JoshskaGeorgeski on December 13th, 2011 at 4:10 pm

@sniper4usmc get it! buy another car more kid-friendly, then buy this one once you’ve saved up for it. Better late than never, and it can be your little weekend car. Plus, when the kids get their license, this will be a damn awesome car for them! :)

By AngryBirdSEASONS on December 13th, 2011 at 5:09 pm

@sniper4usmc
ikr haha…then get a large 2-door coupe with seats good enough for kids even when they grow up. Something like the C70 or the A5/S5.

By dmontego522 on December 13th, 2011 at 5:40 pm

In the R-Design trim, this is a beautiful car. For some reason the base model just doesn’t look right

By joepyediesel on December 13th, 2011 at 6:28 pm

I really wish there was a true performance trim…. they should just build the pcp c30

the “overly thick roof pillar” is there for a reason and it’s spelled safely, what a moron, lol.

when ever my cousin (who’s obsessed with twilight ugh) sees one of these she’s like “O…M…G… it’s Edward’s car” and i keep thinking shut up shut up shut up shut up

By kingofallwhites on December 13th, 2011 at 7:56 pm

Thumbs up if you want to fuck the brunette!

By MrSponge1985 on December 13th, 2011 at 8:24 pm

it’s a throw back to the p 1800!

@sniper4usmc Its a car for women.

By pianoman469 on December 13th, 2011 at 9:07 pm

@coreycatastrophe20 yeah, with a decent limited slip diff. and a bigger turbo you’d basically have a ford focus rs (the rs uses volvo’s t5). Obviously awd would help with torque steer, but this car is too heavy as it is (you probably know awd adds alot of weight) and would do better in terms of acceleration to handling ratio with a limited slip diff. For what its worth, the focus rs is also fwd and supposedly has some torque steer due to this, but those who have driven it praise the handling.

@sniper4usmc hmmm I am thinking one..my girl likes it….maybe I should sneak one before its to late xD

By JogaBonitofootball on December 13th, 2011 at 10:31 pm

@sniper4usmc dont be whipped dude haha you’re a man

Like this IF EDWARD FROM TWILIGHT BROUGHT U HERE :)

there could be ferrari porsche mercedes cars u like but not cars u love i love this car it doesn’t have to be exotic to be the perfect car for u

By coreycatastrophe20 on December 13th, 2011 at 11:31 pm

I love the styling of this car. It would be amazing with the 2004 s60r motor and drive train in it. 300 hp and all wheel drive? I think so.

Want this car SO Badly. I’m about to go into nursing school and hopefully can have it when I graduate!
P.S. That’s exactly why I am never having children!
1. THere’s no money for cars like this
2. No room!

such a HAWT car

not enough bang for the buck for moi

lol @ 3:12 hahahaha
Anyway I love this car

By spearedge9000 on December 14th, 2011 at 1:30 am

@sniper4usmc having a 2 door is better for ur kids as they will be safer

@SuperQuantumMechanic It’s because for the money, most people will go for the sportier performance of a Volkswagen, Mercedes, Audi, etc. It’s still a great car and I’d take my c30 over any of those :)

@SuperQuantumMechanic

KBB also said that Hummer would have a good resale value…look at it now, lol.
